And "there's no replacement for displacement" works equally well for engines and subwoofers :)

Do you get your supplies from Boat Town? I use them for my normal parts for servicing but not sure you got all the "upgrades" from them? Nice upgrades BTW - really nice. My wife will not like you :).

HydroTunes did the LED Lighting, stereo, and GPS. BoatTown does my service.

Simrek drive show arrived today.

Do you think I should complain about the weld? They missed 20% of it on the upper connection

Call them and ask them. Maybe just get it touched up locally.

Yes....especially for how much you paid. I bet they send a new one right out and take the other one back...shipping included. It's a great company.

Thank you!

I'm a huge advocate of Cobalt. I bought a Cobalt 220 in 2014 after going to the San Antonio boat and RV show. I was looking at a few of the series but the 220 was the right size for my wife and I. My wife and I are counting the days when we can enjoy a weekend out on the boat.

Very cool, drolaw. The 220 sounds like the perfect boat for you both. That is a great size....manageable & even spacious... yet stll nice riding.

If you have any spare time, pleeeeease post a pic of your beauty in a new thread. And we are certainly counting the days til summer up here in the northern latitudes. :) 8-)

Will do. Strange as it may seem I've had the boat for 4 years and only have 1 photo...Great excuse to drive to the marina and clean the boat then take pics...hmmm, That actually seems like fun with a beer and tunes playing.

Yes....especially for how much you paid. I bet they send a new one right out and take the other one back...shipping included. It's a great company.
To my surprise, he insisted the drive would hold.....sent me an email with lifetime warranty should it break. A little disappointed

I guess seeing that it bothers you that much I would ask him for a refund or a replacement. They are normally so good I'm surprised. Just say I talked to guys on the forum he'll change his mind.

If he'll offer you a lifetime warranty he should replace it. Tell him to put it in his own boat, you don't want to replace it again.
