The replacement engine rebuild is completed. Seller paid for it all.

Now the dilemma is what to do?

I have an engine that I can only assume it runs and has no flaws. The season is just about over here and I'm not going to pay to install it, and then pay to have it removed when the HP engine is ready.

Any insight on what to do with the replacement engine from others would be nice. Thank you

When is the HP engine due? When do you think it will be done? Is that even realistic at this point given their track record?

Is there anyway you can do the install and removal of the replacement engine yourself?

Have been waiting on a billet cam was what I was told for the HP engine. Everything else should be accounted for. New block, so a lot of machining/checking is in order. I'm hoping there are no more excuses.

I want it broken in and dyno tuned prior to install. That way the retorquing of bolts can be done before install.

I am not up to the task of doing the removal and install myself. I don't have the tools or knowledge for the out drive. Nor do I have the equipment to remove/install the engine. I like to do my own work, but this is one of those things I will pay someone else to do. Hooking everything else up I'm fine with.

I feel for you. Hopefully the billet cam comes in on time and no other issues arise. We want to see this thing up and running!

I am in possession of the replacement engine now. Individual I purchased it from paid for rebuild 100%. (Very stand up guy. Hard to find people like this any more)

Spoke to my engine builder about putting this on his dyno to verify it's running and in sound shape. So this thing is going to cost me more $$ still. But at least I can feel confident in selling it to someone knowing it's correct.

Getting ready for more fuel needed.

Amazing how small the factory pick up tube actually is.

1/2" tube

1/4" hole at the 90* fitting

3/8" barb fitting

Replaced with a 3/8" ID SS tube

SS AN 10 elbow

That's a 5/8" ID fuel hose

Still have the temp engine. Never installed it because I've been told my engine will be done.....

Heard that in Nov and Jan.

It's now July and just got on the engine stand for assembly.

You know we need pics of the shiny new engine in the engine stand, right?

If it weren’t for bad luck you’d have no luck at all. :)

I’m still rooting for ya.

You have no idea how right you are.

Had a storm come through and clear off our deck. And dropped the tree on the girls' suv's while they were in them trying to flee.

They are fine, but the SUV's not so much....
