Pretty much what we want to do as well...I don't want the teak lines so was going to do this style instead. Maybe with the Cobalt "C".

What brand mat? Color?

I ordered it from the Cobalt dealer. I believe it only comes in brown and grey.

Cobalt uses marine mat. Once they have the template for your boat they can do any color or design. If you look around at the dealerships you’ll see the marine mat in a few different designs.

The install is easy. The mat is just a big super sticky sticker. Just clean the area with alcohol first, then put the mat over the non-skid part, pretty easy. Just be careful because once it’s on, you’re not gonna be able to remove it if your off center.

The easy way to do this is just as NR said, clean the area, then tape it down where you want it using green frog tape. Peel one half back, peel the backing paper off and lay it down, pressing firmly all over. Now peel the other half up, peel off the back and stick it down. Easy Peasy
