Yessir! I ordered it on your recommendation. I like it, but it seems to leave a residue of some sort. BB said it's probably from sanding it buff marks and he's right, I can see faint marks when the light is just right. I'm about to buff both sides again. (yay)

I'm not a fan of the smell of the hot sauce though. I put gloves on yesterday. The smell just stayed on my hands. Maybe I'll get used to it. I bought a gallon of it. If it removes water stains then all good.

I agree with the smell of the hot sauce - but it works.

I just make sure I do the interior as well and that stuff smells amazing! Balances out.

I actually LOL'ed at that.

I got my new fuel pump and have it installed. It seemed like a good idea to go ahead and put on a new fuel pressure regulator and idle control motor so everything is fresh. The engine starts fine and purrs like a kitten, and my lake is flooded. Grrr

FINALLY! I got her in the water today. Nasty brown water but it was a lake nonetheless. I guess the flooding has the water all stirred up.

The fuel pump worked great and I got about 4 break-in hours on the motor at various levels of rpm. Everyone said keep it at 2 to 3 thousand or below for the first 10 hours,.and I did for the most part, but had to bump about 4500 a couple times. I think me and this boat are going to get along fine!

Thanks! We're heading to our normal lake Wednesday to spend a loong Memorial weekend as long as the water continues to go down. When I do get this sucker on the water again I plan on burning at least 3 or 4 tanks of gas!
