Hopefully this will help the fabricator get close.
Btw, the black plastic piece that holds the ladder from sliding out is actually a round small pipe shape that is slipped over metal and held on by a screw. That way it rotates as it slips over the ladder.

....and yes, that's snow binding to the surface. My hands were frozen.
