On the older Cobalts, anyone have an idea where the capacity plate is located?

If you are looking at a 263 or 293 they are both yacht certified. So there will not be a capacity plate. But if there is one it would be below the throttle near the floor board.

I'm looking at a first gen 263, not sure if they are yacht certified. But I did the old school Boat US calculation, and the boat can hold plenty of peeps. Thank you for the feedback, I'll take a look the next time I come aboard.

Well, it's the best of both worlds, particularly if you are leadership and involved in/lead sales activities. Except that you commute via plane to work. Sometimes 3 to 5 cities a week. Constant travel gets old after a while and really puts a dent into your social life. Hence BOAT!

Yep been there done that. Think I spent the better part of my 20’s in a Hilton hotel room. I do more design and architecture/business development now so I don’t travel much anymore. Couple over nighters here and there. But nothing major.

This is so true, half my job is justifying spending large sums of money that I can't tie to revenue or 'hard savings'. IT is so under funded in an enterprise environment it's not even funny.

Also, if a boat is yacht certified it should still have a 'Yacht Certified' plaque in the same location as the capacity plate would be. On most boats that's under the helm on the bulkhead.
