Sweet A7, we made the commitment to restore my wife’s grandfather’s TR3B….
Finally found a place in Georgia to do it..

A7...love the smile on your daughter's face in the still photo.
It almost say's, "Yea, I did it."

It was a busy week after my college age kids ran the boat into a shallow area in full surf mode on Tuesday. I was able to get it back in the water on Friday morning with new props and prop shaft. It was my first ever insurance claim on a boat.

Sorry to hear that MNLB. Insurance was the way to go. We did the same roughly 10 years ago. Glad to hear you’re back up and running my friend.

We have an amazing prop repair shop 10 miles away(Precision Propeller Works) and he was able to overnight the shaft directly from Volvo. I had an extra set of props already from a less severe accident in 2018 which was a good thing as those K5 props are not readily available right now. The other good thing that came out of this was it forced we to find a new winter storage place for both boats that is indoors and only 8 miles from our home and just a mile from the boat landing. They were at different dealers and the one was 40 minutes away which made it a hassle each time I needed my trailer. The new boat storage place is much more convenient and 35% cheaper than what I have been paying.
