Thanks guys,

Here is the listing. As mentioned, it doesnt have photos in it.

https://fayar.craigslist.org/boa/d/2003 ... 62819.html

Sounds like the guy does a serious amount of maintenance. Which I appreciate because I am the same way.

The NADA says 24k. I am going to look at it on Sunday. He is trading for a R7 surf, so he is going to need all he can get on the sale of this boat.

Red....haha...plus I really want a tower...and it doesnt have one.

Nice looking boat - Katie and I didn't want a tower - until we had one. We don't wakeboard but the tower is great for speakers, I think the Bimini works better with a tower, and its a great place to grab the boat when you are coming alongside the dock (see what I did there BobRay?).

The 6.2 is a great marine engine, nothing but great things to say about ours, and it does sound good /w the captains call. I am going to offend a ton of people here, and its totally personal preference, but I hate the dash on the 220. The gauges on the left and right in the little plastic pods just look cheap / weird to me. The gauge and switch layout in the 222 is much nicer imho.

Well maintained well optioned boat with an upgraded engine? Worth a look for sure.

Thanks Nauti,

Yes, we like the tower for the same reason. We are skiers, but prefer the tower for the same reasons.

As for the gauges, yea, I get that. Haha

Don't the the tower be an issue. Samson has the OE and different versions For Cobalt. That's an easy add on!
They specialize in Red ones

Well I went and drove it tonight. Wow. Boat was crazy smooth.

Water had about 2-4ft of chop. Cut through like nothing.

Had a considerable amount of power and mid range. Wasn’t as loud as the big block, but sounds good with the exhaust open.

Made him a offer. Said he wanted to think on it over night.

We will see!

Thanks guys!

The stereo is ridiculous. 3 amps, 2 subs and 12 speakers. It feels like your heart is going to explode when it’s loud.

It’s about 2.5 hours from me. On lake Norfork. Beautiful lake. Clean water.

Trying not to get to attached haha

Good luck on the deal. Great looking boat. Have that combo on mine, minus the captain's call. Plenty of power.

Thanks islander!

Question. Do you have a Bimini top?

If so, do you have support braces that go on it? It looks like they would be about 1ft-2ft long.

This boat has the brackets, but doesn’t have the braces

Bummer. He dropped the braces In the water. That's a unicorn. Double check the sides of the ski locker. They hide them up in there.

Great looking boat and the stereo sounds killer. Hope all goes well on the deal. I use to have family that had a place on Norfolk. Beautiful lake with crystal clear water.
