One of my favorite views, someone else driving just watching the wake at Lake Powell.

Pics of that lake always make me want to start googling vacations in that area.

Great shot! How would you compare to Havasu?

Yeah that Cig might as well had background music playing as she came out.( who needs fishing poles and downriggers?!).

Our area ( Stockton) , is 65 miles inland from the SF bay and 50 miles from true salt water. With so many Rivers and water highways it’s almost an intercostal.

It is rising about 8 inches a day. It’s about a quarter mile walk to parking at Bullfrog. Most of the people are pretty friendly and will pick up hitchhikers back and forth. I’ve been going to Powell for 20 years and this is the lowest I have seen. The guy camped next to us said he was fishing there in April and that was the lowest it’s been since the 60’s. I guess the people in LasVegas and California have more pull, they have been filling Lake Mead all winter.

I have never been on Lake Havasu. Lake Powell is 120 miles long and has more coastline than the US West coast. 100 miles from the dam the depth in the main channel is only about 150 feet shallower then at the Dam.

Really the lowest. I thought it was coming up. Didn't know it was that bad. Everything you read must be fake news then. Wow. Keep the pictures coming. So it's everyone super happy you got the surf? Everyone including you try it now.
