Yeah looking at it now it did have a low waterline stain. That would have been a nice one but going forward his other options may be good. You can search Hydrohoist for pdf that dictate tube size vs capacity if “ the guy “ has trouble getting the model.
Get pics of the control head as others here with Center mount can chime in for correct application.
In the mean time I’m turning back to California.

I called HH this afternoon to double check the poly tank sizes and also got the fiberglass tank capacities by dimension.

32" dia x 12' is 3000 lbs per tank
32" dia x 16' is 4000 lbs per tank

Seller told me the fiberglass tanks are 36" x 14', so he either didn't measure right or it's a different brand. I'm guessing the former. Either way, I can rock a 6000#, and it it ends up being 8000# that's even better.

Sent above pics to the installer my marina uses, he says it came out of an 8' slip and needs a bunch of new parts to fit my 12' slip. Trip is off, you all can cancel your flights

Man this sucks. So that's why the pontoons are so close to each other. What 6000 lbs boat guys on a 8ft slip?

If you're getting a 12 foot slip I would highly recommend installing your lift to back in. Then you can just step off the headpier run on the deck. Otherwise you got a looong step over! Your other choice is to crawl over the bow like a monkey and step in the seats. No bueno

We like to swim off the back of the boat while it's in the slip, hard to do when backed in.

I put a deposit on a rebuilt Hydrohoist 6600 UL2 today. Scheduled for install 11/23. Yay!

He sent me a video of the lift, it's in great shape with new steel and some upgraded parts. Here's the best screenshot I could get from the vid.

Congrats! You can always build a deck around your bow area if you find it hard to get on the boat while it’s still on the lift. That is what we did

We have enough room to enter at the stern with the swim platform, slip is 30' long. Pic for reference...I have a few feet to move it forward too. I think we'll be ok

I would have them install the lift as far forward as they can. That’s how I did mine and it makes getting the boat in the perfect position a snap. I just get to where the bow about touches the front of my slip and up it goes. Perfect every time. And with me being in a 32x12 slip that gives me 4ft behind the stern. Which helps greatly on protecting against the sun on my transom
