Was hoping to get out this weekend, but it looks like the weather isn't going to cooperate 60 X 44 is a little too cool for me.

Only a 20% chance of rain. I think it is doable.

Well..... Went down today and got her ready. The big surprise it my marina neighbor has traded their 262 for a R5 Surf. He has a teenage son and no doubt he wanted the surf.
Ran my engine and got it up to temp. Purred like a kitten and started right up. However, there is a drip from the impeller housing after I had it changed when I winterized. Bummer.
Dealer says they will get to it next week. Oh well.
No rain here this weekend so far. Just very cloudy.

Photo, we're both on the same lake. I'm at Vineyard Bay between the 13 and 14 mile marker. How about you? I'm thinking we will have to plan a "Cobalt Day" on the lake one day this summer. There's quite a few members in this area.

That sounds like fun; keep me posted! We're over in Lakeway, near mile marker 17. I'm glad to hear that your impeller housing is dry now!

I found a new place ( new to me anyway) on Lake LBJ. It is called Boat Town Burger Barn. There are plenty of slips AND it is right next door to Boat Town, a Cobalt dealer. You can have a good burger and beer, then walk over and dream about a new Cobalt. They are going to be open for breakfast starting this week. A fun place on the Llano River side of LBJ.
