Went out today to give my brother from AZ a ride. Good day out. It was a odd boating holiday. No one was out. Weird. But today it was busy.

Are those covers on the tower speakers I see? Come on after all the work and time and money to put those in you are rolling around /w them covered?

I was asked to turn our stereo down this weekend, perhaps my proudest nautical moment ever.

That's funny I just put those on. I was getting the boat ready to pull out of the water. Plus I knew everyone would just want to talk. Really I love the tower speakers. I got the wife to go to the swim area with the sil so the tunes got turned up. I don't think the neighbors liked me but oh well. Def Leopard sounded pretty darn good.

Peas and carrots!

Went to brunch on the lake today, wound up in good company at the docks.
Also picked up a nice traveling companion on the way home from the fireworks last night.

Someone was happy to get back out on the water!

Great food, a huge bar, hockey rinks and of course, what would summer be without music and roller derby..

A couple more.

Two weekends in a row had the boat out. Took kids friends both times. Which means lots of tubing, and lots of yelling at "DAD!" when they go out of the wake.

Only good pic to provide is of my daughter teaching her friend how to Twerk. Im not proud.

When she twerks with her friends, you jump in and do the same thing. It will embarrass her so bad she'll stop!

When my daughter was about 8 she thought Britney Houston was the bomb. She tried to get a shirt that was too short past me going to school one day. So, when we got there, I hiked up my shirt just like hers and walked her into class. We went to a small private school and I walked her in almost everyday. So when I told her I could wear a short shirt too, she was majorly embarrassed. I had it hiked up to my armpits and I was strutting!

No more short shirts. Ever...
