What color did you go with versus what you wanted to go with?

I went with gray instead of teak. This last year the gray was ok. I just didn't care about every footprint as much vs the first year.

We had the teak look on our last two. It showed plenty of show prints too. Did you do a light gray or darker?

Light gray. Nauti went with a taupe that was nice.

Those both look great! I can definitely see footprints showing more on the light gray, but it sure does look nice! How has yours held up on the inside of the boat? After some time having the foam flooring would you have done it again in the interior or kept carpet?

I love it. This was the second season. No complaints. I would never have carpet if it was up to me. Which it is.
Yt had his come loose this year on the swim deck though. Nautis had a guy go to the boat and he did digital measuring and turned out really cool.

That's great to hear. I think I'm convinced at this point that it's a good idea inside too. The wet carpet always bugs me and we pull it and shampoo it every time when it gets really soaked in the warm time of the year.

The foam pulling up is just something that happens. I have found that cleaning with windex/vinegar, then going back over everything with denatured alcohol and wiping really well gives great results. Now to choose a color and send these templates back for the final cut...

Try to find a picture of nautis in here. It's a great neutral color. Also all I use is sc wakes Eva cleaner. Really never needed anything other than normal Boat wash soap.

I usually just used diluted boat wash soap. But I'll have to give that Eva cleaner a try for sure!

Drained/Filled the outdrive gear oil. As usual, put together a quick video for others that may want to do their as well. Took me around 30 minutes start to finish, Personally I like to drain/fill the outdrive every year. How often you do it is up to you and how you use your boat:

Did you know there is a vent screw behind that cover on the out drive. If you remove it that is also your full level. Kind of like the merc drives.
I recommend to replace the orings each time. And put tape around the threads of the drain bolt before sliding the oring on so the threads don't cut the oring. And yes only use a volvo oring.

That is great to know! I'm going to be changing the fluid again in a month or so to flush out any more old fluid since it was so dirty. I'll follow your tips and make another video with the extra steps.

Yes that vent screw though if it's never been removed is a beast though to get out. But it makes it easier to fill and know its full. Also I leave the vent closed till I remove the drain bolt. That way it doesn't start to drain till the bolt is out and then you vent it. Yes having warm gear lube is nice and a must if your in a hurry. I pull mine at night and let it drain over night if the fluid isn't warm.

Yes you have to remember it's about 40 degrees when I Drain it. Lol
It takes that long. Lol

Lewmar v700g windlass arrived today. Have a few things that have arrived that I need to find time to install over the winter.
