The Port Clinton area dealers seem to have an ENDLESS supply of late model stock, and they constantly advertise them on Craig’s List.
I may be wrong, but I would bet that the boats from that area may not necessarily be local trades or Lake Erie boats at all.
That boat has been on CL the entire summer.
Obviously no takers. For the regal price they were asking, they could at least detail the motor box.

Haha...tgrace i already talked to them about it. Its in play for sure.
Is that were you bought yours? If so opinions on working with them?
TR- yes that is where I bought mine. If you deal with Brandon he is a really good dude. They are actually storing mine there until I can get it down to the harbor in the spring. Then they are going to deliver it because I didn’t want the trailer.
I actually looked over the 2013 and it’s pretty darn mint. I wouldn’t hesitate looking at it. I was trying to talk my wife into it but we just closed on our condo in December so I was wanting to stay under 45k.

This boat was registered in Ohio. Yes it's dirty. Again it's got closed cooling, the coolant looks brand new. Engine compartment looks clean yes maybe some sun and dust in there nut sure about corrosion. Again of its in Ohio maybe someone can put there eyes on it? That boat can be bought for $85k No prob.
Yes the Bing is worth it. It will hold its value for some time. I think the engine had a 5 year warranty so your still good there also.
Go for it

It may be from a private seller, I don’t know. Pure conjecture on my part.
Tons and tons of boats come out of that area. Toledo, Detroit, Cleveland, Erie, Pittsburgh and Buffalo customers. Put in Bay, Cedar Point area. Lots of tourism there. That’s where I had to go to pick up my trailer.
Local dealer would be
http://clemonsboats.com/
Call them and ask them about the boat. If it’s a private seller, Clemons was probably the dealer and knows the boat history and the seller.
I agree with B.B., this is a nice buy in the low 80s. Probably more that what you want to spend TR, but if you buy this right, your cost of ownership will be cheap.
Dirt will cost the owner here.
Looks like they are totally done with the boat because of the presentation without detail.. Cold this weekend, and a great time to offer 79K. Worth a plane ticket to see.
This was a loaded spec when purchased new, and a nice opportunity to own a large late model Cobalt. A 10 year boat.

More boats are coming TR!

I think the “blue” stripe wasn’t a stripe, but a reflection from the sun.

yea I'm hoping to see lots pop up once the STL boat show has ended. Families who just bought that brand new A28 looking to sell their "old" and mildly used cobalt

I was thinking A28 last night too. I saw the $90k one also.
You really didn't think we would give you our opinions without finding you a boat did you.lol
Pot the Jus
New project for you BB...find me an A28 for 70k. Ill buy you a bottle of pappy van winkles 21 yr.
I will step up my boat search game if that means a bottle of Pappy is at stake...poor BB isn't from KY or a bourbon guy so he really doesn't understand what you just offered as reward! This KY likes her bourbon.

I was wondering the same thing, T, on that blue stripe.
Cobalt needs to adopt that "reflected" blue color and incorporate it into their hull scheme. It was very cool in that one pic.

Aslan - dont they have that option on new boats now? Last time I farted around on their website it seemed like there was every color imaginable. I still love that powder blue look.
So my marina/Table Rock cobalt dealer The Harbor is going to be on the lookout for me as well. And they will trade in my boat if I wish. I'll probably just sell it myself though I think. I'm thinking there will be lots to choose from soon post boat shows. KC was last week I think and STL is a week away.
