Purchased my first Cobalt and boat on 3/17. She's a 2004 Cobalt 226 5.7 GXi DP - 500 hours.
We have two young girls 3 & 6 who are almost as excited as their father. We will primarily go to Smithville and Table Rock. I can't wait to take the girls tubing and crank up some tunes on the water this summer. We are excited to make new friends and have new adventures.

Welcome from the other side of the state! that is a nice looking boat you just purchased there! I too am a table rocker as I have a place on Indian point. Where do you normally boat on table rock?

That's a good looking boat you have. It looks a lot like Bfuns boat, so I'm sure you guys will compare notes.

Welcome aboard Mr. Wilson! She's a beauty! Thats a great first boat. How long have you been interested in boating? I love it when the kids get excited to get out on the lake! Table Rock is a beautiful lake, YT gave a pretty good list of those who use it as our "home" lake. Since your from KC I assume you frequent the Shell Knob side? I'm on Indian Point as well and my boat is on the same dock as Tgrace.

Welcome from Wisconsin. nice boat you have there. You guy one of the fastest hulls cobalt made. Congrats. That a nice power package for that boat. Can't wait to see pictures of the family on the water.

I forgot that about a 226 being the fastest hull design BB.
Pwillson it'll be interesting to see how she handles and performs on the water. BB knows what he's talking about, even if he does type in BBcode sometimes!
Again, welcome to the gang. There are lots of folks here willing to answer any questions you might have and help you spend your money when it come time to shop for upgrades.
You're going to love that boat!
