I finally sold my supra so now I am on the hunt for my Cobalt. I saw this one on craigslist and it has some of the options I want and looks to be priced pretty good.

I don't know the boat, nor do I know what price range you're shopping. This is another nice looking rig.

I like both of those. I love the all white too. Easy maintenance.

Neal, I recently just sold a 2003 240 cobalt for more than they are asking for this. Mine had the tower w/sunshade and seagrass carpeting. I also had added seadek to the swimplatform and an onboard battery charger. I think this boat is fairly priced. If you have any interest in it you might want to act with a sense of urgency. Used cobalts in good shape, in this price range, sell very quickly and close to, it not equal to, asking price.

The 240 is a great boat, great layout and rides well. If I wasn't a maniac I'd have been just fine holding onto her for awhile longer....but as it stands, well I'm a maniac...

oh....and she looks like she is in great shape.

Neal I'd be glad to go look at this boat for you because about an hour from me. The problem is I fly out of town Wednesday morning and won't be back until next Monday, so it be next week sometime before I could see it and it may not last that long. This looks like a good boat at a good price!

That's a good price on the 250. The advantage you get with a 250 is the sun pad in back. Is that a big deal.

Does look like a few tears in the rear seat by the engine hatch. Other than that from the pics looks clean.

Those things that look like tears are the flaps to pull the seat and engine cover up. I usually just tucked underneath to keep hidden

The 250 is nice but a little out of my price range. I am going to try to get out there and check out the 240. The only problem is it’s about a 10 hr drive for me. My price range is around 27 so this boat has some good options for the money.

Road trip! seriously I bought my 240 from the cobalt dealer in Fenton, MI. Action Water Sports, and I live in the greater St. Louis area. Sometimes you just have to go where the boats are.

True!! The only way to be picky when buying used is to travel for what you want.
