So we are looking at buying an A40 and keeping it at ft Myers or somewhere close. We have owned several smaller Cobalts but all on lakes. I'm interested in fellow Cobalt owners experiences regarding wet dock/lift/dry storage and the resultant maintenance issues in this (warm salt water) area? Also interested in opinions regarding marinas in the area.
Thanks

That will be a great boat for you. You don't want outboards?

Hey bt.1954@icloud.com. Welcome to the CobaltChat forum. So glad you found us!

We do have some folks who will chime in and answer your questions. A40 is quite a yacht. Would love to see some pics if you acquire her.

Again, welcome aboard mate!

Thank you both. Nah, can't get my head around outboards. Probably a generational thing as they seem to be the rage. Took our first ride aboard an A40 yesterday. Gas engines, hard top( not the coupe). Impressive yacht. We had a late eighties 40' Searay back in the 90s. No comparison. Loved the joystick and , of course the wave crushing ride of the Cobalt. I'm interested in trying a Diesel Coupe model. Ill keep you posted.
