Interior LED lights - worth it ?

Post by hutchug »

Probably going to pull the trigger on a new R5

Wondering if the interior LED option light is worth it?

Thanks !

Pretty much everyone here loves it.... We don't have interior lighta on our 222 and not looking to add it anytime soon... We don't boat at night so seems pointless to us. I'd rather have a kick ass stereo instead.

LED's are totally worth it if you do any night boating at all. I saw Table Rockin's LED's and was ordering replacement bulbs for mine the next day.

They look great in the garage too. It's a must have.

Love them. They are not just for night. They really add to the elegance of the boat in the early evening.
I also recommend the remote key fob that turns on the lights, but never checked if it activates the LEDs.

For others looking to add underwater lights, Seablaze will be releasing the newly updated Seablaze X2 and the Seablaze Spectrum2 at the end of this month. Suppose to emit almost twice the light over the original Seablaze X and Spectrum at the same price.

Oh great. :(

Thanks (not) Tusc! Now you'll have me wanting a set of those too! Sorry dog

I ended up going with boatpluglight.com and the doublenwhammy brass version with a drain plug in the middle. Supposed to be 8,000 lumen lights each. I have no idea, but the sucker's are bright!
