Iphone APP for GPS / Navigation ?

Hi! New to the group but really have gotten great answers so far. Pulling the trigger on a R5, but was interested in any APPS people would recomned for chart plotting, GPS for the Great Lakes areas?

What year? If its a 2017 or newer they come with GPS/maps already. Limited experience with mine the dual screen is pretty cool.

I've used both a Navionics app and a GPS. I like the GPS better. Handier to use while under way, and you can get identical charts from Navionics if you prefer the way they look. A lot of the guys use only the Navionics apps and it works, but I hate having to handle another loose piece of electronics while running at night.
