Subwoofer Location on 2016 220

I need to add a sub to my 220. Anyone have any pics of a clean install location that works well?

I'm doing the same on my R3.
Looking at either right behind the Captains seat, in the battery on/off compartment or possibly the front of the engine compartment (not sure about the heat in there though).

There's not that much heat in the engine compartment.

What did you use to cut the hole with?
Did you add any backing for the mounting screws to thread into?

Had all the new speakers installed, so I can’t answer your question, but BBP can provide some input.

A big chain saw.lol
I'm not cutting that big of a hole. Router or a real fine jig saw blade. Tape it up.personally I would call the stereo shop. That can go bad real fast.
