Welcome from Oklahoma! I used to make a trip to Rockwall every week for about 7 years to Lakeside AA. Tell us more about Broken Bow? How do you like that lake? I've been meaning to make a trip down there for awhile now, and Ray Hubbard looks awesome too. Never made it on it but drove over the I 30 bridge about a zillion times. Wishing

That's a beautiful boat and that boy is going to making lots of memories on it!

Lake Ray Hubbard is great. It is a big sailing lake so at least the targets are moving slow..... The number of boats is fairly low since the city basically won't allow hardly any marina/storage in the county. Good for those that have a place to store a boat.

In regards to Broken Bow Lake, you must go there. We own/rent a cabin there (Trail Mix) and the lake is much different than those in TX. First it is super clear and deep (I believe 185' at its deepest). Also there is absolutely no building on the lake and is contained in a national forest so once you are out of the marina is the like being on a lake 100s of years ago when there were no people. You can go off into a finger of the lake and will never see anyone all day. Tube/ski up and down in solitude. I can't say enough good things about it.
