Well she got her first acid wash, buff, and wax in 15 years. Plus a little stain and poly. 100% better than what she looked like when I pulled her out of the grips of boating hell!!!!(storage lot) Long way to go. She fired up and made her maiden voyage last weekend. I don't think I have ever had a better boat on the river. Rides like a dream. While at the marina getting buffed I had 3 offers to buy it from me. Not today #lovingmycobalt

That's a great looking boat. I had to take that red and white stripe off my boat so I could sand it....what a bugger to get off, even with a heat gun,the red just didn't want to let go.

A little of the trim put back in and the vinyl cleaned up. The seats actually held up pretty good for setting outside in MO for 10 years. Need to be redone though. I need the nolaboater interior treatment

That did hold up fairly well, chachie. Looks good.
There’s something special about that old school ribbed vinyl look in boats that is appealing to me. Maybe it’s the Donzi Classic series interiors that I cut my teeth on. In any event, keep up the great work and keep those pics coming. Very enjoyable thread.
