Hi all, new to the forum. I have a 2018 R3 Surf that I am in love with. still trying to get things how we want them. I was wondering what you all would suggest for a rear view surf/ski/wakeboard mirror. I had a Samson mirror on my last ski boat. Tower is totally different on the R3. Does a windshield mount work well? looking for suggestions. thanks.

I have a CIPA windshield mount on my 252 and while it's better than nothing, it's not all that great. If I mount it to the windshield pane that opens, it interferes with the opening and then I have to keep it closed all the time for it to work correctly. If I mount it to the frame on my side, I get a good view of half the wake and one of my nipples. If you have a tower I'd suggest trying to do some sort of tower mount.

Ive seen that one butt is not cheap like me.

Great mirror I should break down and get one too. John mentioned that same one awhile back too.

Does anyone have the exact model number of the PTM Edge mirror mount that fits best on the cobalt? 2008 252. Thanks

Looking at the site, it seems as though the VR-100 is the OEM model pictured on the Cobalt site. The VR-140 is the longer version.
