On our first launch today I went out with just my nephew and niece for what we call “extreme boating”. Basically jumping waves Miami Vice style with captain’s call wide open.

I lost track of how many tines we went airborne in the 2 to 4 (& occasional 3 to 5 foot) swells. We pushed her incredibly hard ....man she is such a hot rod. Lands straight and true every time.

We buried the nose a few times into some waves and got drenched as our spray hit the north east wind. The only weakness we found after an hour of plowing waves was a port docking light bezel that got taken off by a wave crash. I’ve already ordered another....and it was worth it.

Next time I should mount my go-pro to the bow.

Wow A7 you must of really been smacking some wake in order for that to happen. I’ve gotten my 262 airborne a couple times jumping cruiser wake. It’s an awesome feeling

Did you order the led bulbs for it too?

Yes we hit ‘em hard tg98. I did the same thing with our 262 back in the day. Actually pushed the entire can style docking light out into the anchor locker. It’s one of the few weaknesses of the 260 series. Still worth blowing out an occasional light (or bezel) for the Miami Vice experience.

I thought about it, BbP. Just got to cross reference the LED bulb number. Do you happen to have that off the top of your head oh master of the LED trade?

You’re true nature finally comes out! Awesome fun! (?) Mount that GoPro and do it again before replacing that bulb!

We need video or it never happened.

LED’s and new docking lights installed. Was going to do just the chrome bezel but decided to replace everything.

Aren't those nice. You can turn them on and the stereo doesn't slow down like a 33 record. Lol
