Ok it's been a little struggle but I got the mefi-4 program working on my laptop. Im sure Mr. Nauti could have did it in his sleep.
Thanks to Slideruler selling me his disc. This May come in handy when buying boats.
So my engine has 259 hours on it and the hour meter shows 272.
Other data is cool like what rpm she normally runs at.

Nice buddy! Is there a gauge screen for voltage? Blade angle.? I see some great info. 255 starts with no malfunctions.

It’s also shows your horoscope sign is Leo, and you like pizza.. Amazing!

Yes throttle was at 0. Yes Leo yes pizza yes no malfunctions. I wonder what date that counter started at? Yes the dashboard has about 8 diff things you can watch. You can switch it up out of prob a 100 parameters.
I'll disconnect the Hobbs to match up with it.

Very cool BBp. I wonder why it's showing 8.6 minutes above 5000 rpm? Seems a little excessive, no? :?:

Pretty cool, I need to look into this. I got a report from the marina I bought mine at that shows all the MEFI 1 info, and like you the ECM showed about 80 hours less than the hour meter.

Well just fired her up for the first time with the new ecu tune. Can't wait to dump it in the water in June πŸ’¦πŸ˜‚

Does one have to replace the stock ECM in order to use this scan tool?

Nope I used it on my stock one. But I think I might add a a fox Marine nema2000 Bluetooth unit instead. Plus if I add a chart plotter then I can send engine data to it.
The advantage I have with this software is its the same company that did the ecu upgrade so if I have issues with it they can see what is doing.
