Hello - any ideas (or experience) on gracefully removing a 36' Cobalt arch, or reducing the height? Must live with under 8' bridge clearance. Willing to relocate the radar dome. THANKS!

With the way yours is integrated, I think you are going to need a good fiberglass guy.

Unless you can see or get to any fasteners I agree with A7. Cut it off and have it modified to match your hull lines and finished off by a good fiberglass and gel body shop. Im sure the one by us could do it but that's a long haul. Sell the boat and buy one that fits your needs. Sorry. My 2 cents. Maybe a A40?

I have seen arches modified with hinges so you can lower it for the bridge and then raise it again. I would have a hard time just taking it off.

Sawzall. Raise the bridge or lower the water!

Seriously, the resale value could go straight south if you cut it off. Going to a professional fiberglass guy to look at some sort of hinge solution might be the answer, and actually enhance the value of your boat. Otherwise I'd probably sell it and get something else before I cut it up.

Okay. After extensive research and development... and the fact that your going to not want to be “ That Guy” I have a plan.

Yes your going to cut the arch at the side with 2 inches remaining and level cut in the water.

Discard the 400 lb arch.

Then your going to bond in a stainless 3/4 inch plate in the hollow shell that is pinned to the sides through bolted and you will only see a shiny top with ability to drill , tap and thread for your new..... Roswell marine tower.

Yes it’s up to 105 wide. Yes it can be colored to your white hull and the have wiring and a Bimini.

And best off all., It drops forward in 10 seconds.

Here’s the link.. and yes that’s a Donzi 35zr. See

Ok Matt went through 2 pictures of lemonade thinking that up.2 things. The Donzi and the 360 should not have that arch.
Just go buy the Donzi and be done with it.
Yt that arch isn't that heavy is it. You did it by yourself maybe 50lbs of alum?
Maybe cut the wedge on the stern side and then when your almost through just push it in the water. Maybe mount some down riggers and go fishing from the 360.🤣🤣🤣

Just having fun.
That's a great idea Matt. Now go back to drinking.

While you're at it you could cut the roof off of the bow and have the biggest bowrider on the lake...
