I've been lurking around here the last few weeks. I finally rook delivery of my new 2018 CS22 on Saturday. So far I'm in love. It's my first new to me boat as well as my first Cobalt. I've got to get some better pics but wanted to get these up. Pretty basic setup but here's what it's got:
Volvo Penta 280 V-6 with DP
Bimini top
Segrass flooring
Transom radio & trim control
Interior RGB accent lighting
Dual batteries
Transom LED lighting
Bow & Cockpit covers

Welcome from California!
Wow that’s an incredible looking Cobalt. And for a first timer you got the needed stuff right off the bat.
The shale and black look mean and you’ll be asking away about what’s what , and that’s why we’re here.
Boy the cs series are sweet. mmmmm CS 28 with twins

Looks great, I like the shale. Had a chance to try the stereo yet? Was it as expected?

Oh why are we being so nice to him. Oh he already has a bow rider, oh he doesn't have a arch to cut off, oh and he posted in the new member section with pictures first. Great job. Stick around and join the fun. Again sweet boat. Never know she might grow up to be a 360 someday with a shortened arch you can't walk under!

Stereo sounds good. As expected it's the Rockford remote controls on the dash and transom with the main unit hidden under the glove compartment section. I really don't understand why they didn't just mount it in the glove compartment like they do in the 220S.

The cs22 glove box seems wider, but not as deep as the 220s. One difference is that the side padding on the 220 serves as the head rest when the seat is in the passenger-facing-backwards mode - the seat back goes the whole way down. The side padding wraps around. The 220 glove box is a top loader. On the CS22, the seat back remains the backrest in either direction, and the glove box is a front loader, with a cubby. Probably wasn't enough room to mount it . Different strokes as they say. Other than the feeling that some microwatts are going to lighting up a display no one can see, it probably doesn't matter all the much. You have to dig down in my 220's glove box to get to the stereo display anyway. The captain picks the tunes.

Thanks! I actually lived in Austin when I was younger and we spent plenty of time out on Lake Travis.
