Does anyone have experience removing a fiberglass arch from an older model 262. I never liked the look of the Fiberglass arch. I'm interested to see what the bolt pattern in the top deck looks like once removed.

Seriously? You wouldn't happen to have any relation with a 360 would you?
To answer your question, yes. And there is one of our members that will buy it from you.
There are 5 bolts in a staggered pattern on each side, 4 towards the transom and one in the front.
You can remove the Bimini and the top arms, then it's just a matter of removing the bolts and backing washers and lifting the thing off. It's gel coated aluminum and two people can lift it pretty easy, but it's awkward. It will be better if you have a large lift of some sort to get it up in the air and pull the boat out from under it.
Where are you located? Depending on where you're at, I might be interested in helping you remove it. I also have the stainless steel factory Bimini that I would throw in the trade if you wanted to sell that thing.

I think this guy was a oncer. And Judd came out of a slumber to miss a couple of unicorns for sale, but that means there is hope! Maybe we can still find you one.

Judd I have got a very very simple solution to your arch needs. You buy my 262 that is listed in the for sale section. And boom bam you have your arch. You get a 1 year newer boat with an arch and a kick Arse stereo system. I don't see the con in this plan.

I really like the look of the GMCs. Although I'm still a year or two out, I've almost decided on a truck if I can get over the performance and handling issues.
