Laying the Bimini flat for storing

I will store my boat in a warehouse from about 11/1 - 3/15. It would be easier for me to store to lay the bimini down flat. It looks like this can be done by removing a few fasteners. Anyone have any experience doing this?
Thanks

It can be done by removing a few screws. You should check with your dealer and install the EZ Fold hardware option. Drops or raises in a second.

Tuscany’s Bimini set up is the way to go for towing and storing. Geeze I’ve caught a few leaves.
You may have the same hardware the holds your down rods similar to your forward adjusters that snap in.
Pull the spring clips from the top and release the lowers to lay it flat.
Two person procedure is advised.

I've thought about doing this as it would be nice to have for trailering. The one thing I'm not clear on is how you convert. My bimini has straight rear poles (or at least I think it does) whereas T's bimini has curved rear supports. I wonder if the quick fold system works with straight poles as well.

I believe it has to be a late model SC, R or A series to convert.

What’s the definition of late model? Mine’s a 2016

I think a new R3 counts as a late model. Lol

It might be better if you take the bike and I'll work the leaf blower (less chance of me killing myself)

I'd be happy just sitting quietly in that huge uncluttered space for a while.

LOL! I didn't know.

Well, if you have an R3, you have the same Bimini as I do, and it should work.

You'll be fine..

It's a lot of fun as long as everyone else puts their phones away..
