Hello all

I'm in central Ok and I just purchased a 2003 240 BR project. The motor is low hours but the boat was neglected (gag) and the block has a freeze crack, the interior need attention and the entire boat needs a wet sand and buff. A perfect winter project.
I just discovered this forum so I'm looking forward to what can be learned here! I'm not new to boating but this is my first Cobalt. I'll be spending a lot of time with it over the next few months and I'm as giddy as a kid with his first car!

Very clean looking, especially for an older Cobalt! It will be fun to see it brought back to its former glory - thanks for joining.

Welcome to the site. Make sure you start a thread on your project. It just amazes me how people can neglect something like that. It looks like you have a great foundation to start with. Good luck.

Thanks guys. I didn't think of doing a build thread, but that's a great idea. I'll start one.

I think you might be amazed on how easy it wet sands. At least I hope. I bought a Texas 2004 220 it needed love also. Cobalt has a great gel coat and came back to life very easy with just 2000 grit and polish.

Definitely start a thread - it'll keep us northern guys alive for the winter!
