Any interest in a Simrek group buy?

I've seen them do it on OSO, just wondering if anyone is interested in getting a group buy going?

Yea we did it on crownline as well. I think we did it here a year or so ago. The only bad thing here is most of us have Volvo power. I think you need 10 to get a deal with them. Let's cross your fingers for ya. Best thing you can add to a merc drive!!!

From the information I've been getting group buys through Simrek are a pain in the butt, and you need a lot of people to make it worth while.

I found an online dealer that sells them for $200 shipped, so I pulled the trigger on one yesterday.

Nice to see Simrek now licensing their products to other vendors. You’ll save $40 on shipping too.

They have also expanded their product line to offer showers which fit Latham and other specialized steering connections.

From their site, it looks like they offer discounts on nearly any quantity. $199 for a single and down to $175 for a group order of 5. You'd have to call them on pricing for a larger order. Free shipping to boot!

Yeah, but from talking to other people that organized the group buys they have to all be payed for on a single credit card and shipped to a single location. Then it's on the organizer to collect the money and ship to the individuals. I paid $200 shipped form NuWave for a single unit, so saving $25 wasn't worth the hassle of running a group buy to me.
