I'm a recent Cobalt 210 purchaser (orderer), and was hoping to find an active online community of Cobalt boat owners online. As I couldn't find such a cobalt boat forum, I thought I'd try to start one. Photos of the boat coming, hopefully not too long after the snow starts to melt...

John, I'll add my 2 cents. Been searching for something like this for awhile ever since other site went "Facebook" which I don't do. I guess I'm old school.

Why thank you! For a long time it was just John and I on here. Then BB burst on the scene like a whirling dervish!

It's all John, I just floated here because whatever that other site was sucked. Used to post and wait, now people are constantly online. It's been a pretty cool evolution.

The real trick is getting the first 10 active members to find you. I was perhaps a bit shameless in cross-linking on other sites, hunting down regular Cobalt users, etc., the first year.

Well John,if you come up with virtual medals, you & liquid need to be nominated for the "Founding Member" medal and have it display next to your avatar. These are helpful for new folks like me to get a flavor of the audience in addition to incentivizing folks in certain areas ( prop exchange; site contributor for those blessed monetarily; mechanical ability like BB & Tuscany; most welcoming and active like liquid; Tuscany, AJ; driller etc. )

In fact consider these all nominations!. And if you get enough noms from members, then the medal goes out!

I nominate liquid as the garbage can man he's always in hiding!

How bout Oscar from Sesame Street? Nah. Liquid is certainly not grouchy.
Waste management logo? Nah. Too big.
Indian crying when people throw trash at him? Nah. Too sad.

Maybe a change of direction. How about the gopher on caddy shack? He's always happy & hiding --popping up at just the right time!

Who was that that climbed out of the garbage can? Maybe he would fit in Tuscany's patent pending large model.
