Okay Chatters, I'm in need of finding a company that can supply Sea grass carpet for a 2009 230. Any help here would be appreciated! ;)

Can you have them send template material to measure and send back? Probably quite the process but maybe an option if you get desperate.

I don't know if any will have a template. Like TR said I was going to send my carpet in but you have to make sure they adjust for shrinkage.
Do you have the orig. Carpet.
The upholstery shops around here all sell it and install it.

I wonder if it would be feasible to send someone the old carpet to be used as a template for the seagrass? Or maybe call a few places like Matworks (https://matworks.com/pages/duraweave-standard-colors) that do a lot of custom/replacements and see if they have a template for a 230.

Is there a reason they don't want to go with sea dek?

Ive thought about this alot.....despite how cool it would look if think it hard to keep clean. The sea dek on my 240 had a spots i just couldn't get out. I think it would show alot more...deposits if you will. Ive had seagrass in both my boats and have really liked it.

Still.....the allure of the all fake teak look. It does look dreamy.

I just checked sea deks website and they have no templates for any R series. Guess that makes my decision easier. Surprised though. R series has been out for awhile now.

Man Sure loce this chat site. Thanks for the input. Yep will have to ship the carpets for a template but it will be worth it. I loce the sea deck for the swim platform but like the sea grass in the boat easier to take out and clean and to me more comfortable on my toes'ies :D

Dane,

There is a place on table rock that will take your old carpet and use it as a template to make sea grass. I’ll get their info from a friend today and send it to you. Probably your best option

Gdane did you get another boat? Because I can recognize (and hear) this one from a mile away.

Closest thread I could find to fit my question in. I am getting SeaGrass snap in carpets made, and have everything worked out except the thickness. I am using the Infinity Luxury Woven SeaGrass which can come in Compact Cushion (.115" thick) or the Heavy Duty (HD .223" thick). I'm definitely leaning towards using the HD thickness as I think we want a softer feel. And we are used to the thicker carpet from factory.

What's the thickness that comes in the boats now, or what do you all recommend that have experience with it?
