ISO: I need the center section for the swim deck on my '84 19BR or parts for it. Just the Stainless frame would be great I can do the Teak myself but the whole thing would be fantastic. I've been looking for one since I got the boat with no luck, they seem to be non existent.

I'm thinking a fab shop could make you one. Have it bent up and just add the teak.

I sure would have thought the factory would still make that up.

I may have to do,that. It wouldn't be hard to do,teaks not very expensive and is easy to come by.

I keep thinking I need to give them a call and see if they might have one but at the end of the day it's still not done for some reason. I need to make a note to myself maybe that would help.

I called Cobalt and got the no parts older than 7 years answer like some of the other guys have gotten and spent a couple of hours this morning searching the web for them with no luck, so it's off to the fab shop to get it bent up. We'll see how that goes.

That's a bummer. After driving through that town I bet there's a few locals with that boat in there backyard.
Sorry they gave you that answer. I've never heard of that. 7 years what the heck

What does it look like?

It apears to be a hinged center that completes the platform when the drive is down. Flip it up for towing. Schmancey thinking.

I agree, you would think, they would have at least a frame kicking around somewhere. He did say he thought it was great that people were fixing up some of the older boats. I'm sure that wasn't the only year they made that deck so I'm thinking they made hundreds of them. Somebody has them somewhere.....probablly in their backyard.

That's exactly what I'm looking for. I've seen that first picture,it's from a YouTube video. The second one I haven't but it's a good view of it. I had them make the frame a bit deeper that that one. I may need to cut it off a bit but better than too short.

If the flags clean up you could probably sell them for what he's asking for the whole boat.

You never cease to amaze me with your uncanny ability to locate difficult to obtain items, BBP. You're like "Red" from my favorite movie of all time -- The Shawshank Redemption. Yup, youโre that guy who has that special gift to unite hard to find things with a yearning owner. (except it's on this site & not in prison....& without the criminal history of course). (I think
