Hi there,
I am very excited to learn a lot from this forum. I just bought our first boat, a 2018 23 SC and we love it! We have taken it out a few times and it is the best ride on a boat this size I've ever been on. Looking forward to making family memories on our Cobalt.
I little bit about me, I am a retired Army Chaplain and I currently serve as the Spiritual Formations Pastor at a local church (New Day CC).
I am interested in retrofitting Cobalt approved (Lenco) trim tabs and any advice will be appreciated!
Thanks!

Welcome from Missouri! Nice looking SC you have there! Being in Florida and I assume salt water boating I bet it’s nice to have the outboard. What is she equipped with? And trim tabs are a very nice feature to have for leveling out an uneven load on the boat or digging in so you can maintain speed but still cut into the chop. I’d never own a boat without them. The electric lenco’s are nice. You get an indicator on position and mine on my R7 return to all the way up when I turn off the motor. So I don’t forget to put them up before I raise the boat on my lift or trailer.

Welcome from Wisconsin. Please show us the twin 400r's hanging off of the back of her
Yes go with electric tabs. They may already have the wiring in there for you. Call the factory and ask.

Welcome from California! Fun family photo ( who took the pic?
Yes it apears you’re a candidate for tabs as everyone will converge to one side and bow as well.
Lenco is what we saw at Cobalt and as BB said pretty sure that the harness is ran so your installer will loce you!

Hey Abdiel, welcome to the Cobalt Chat forum. So glad you found us!
Great picture and intro. I just retired from 26 years service in the Air Force and cannot speak highly enough about our Chaplains. Their service was a big part of my spiritual growth and confidence before heading out on our missions. Thank you for all your efforts and service.
+1 on what the others above said about trim tabs. I did the same retrofit with our Cobalt.
You are going to make some great memories for years to come with your beautiful Cobalt and even more beautiful family.
Welcome aboard mate!
