No more Fastech's

Sad to see. This was always one of my favorite go fast boats. And if I were to ever buy one it would have been a Formula. I guess this just goes to show the outboard center console market is taking over. Personally I am not a big fan of them. But I guess if you want to go fast and not have to do a ton of maintenance on the motors outboards are the way to go. Personally to me it doesn't make sense as an inland lake boater.

Crazy, I have to think this market gap won't be long lived. Fountain, MTI, DCB are all still making serious inboard/IO go fast boats, I wonder why Formula has lost so much of this market? I know I see a LOT more Fountains than Formula go-fast boats around me, and of the Formulas I see most are older SR-1 models.

I think Formula is refocusing all efforts and concentrating on what they do best.
