My name is Josh I'm from Prattville, AL. I just got my first boat and it is a '98 Cobalt 200 with the Volvo 5.0. we will be mainly on Lake Jordan but we are close enough to go to Lake Martin and the Alabama River. We are very excited as I have been waiting for about 11 years to get a boat. I lived on Lake Jordan as a kid and have been wanting to get back out there.

Welcome from California Josh. For a first timer you went Cobalt , and back to the lake you grew up on. It’s a hallmark moment

.
I like that the previous owner added the swim platform as it looks sleek and it’s very usable!

Thanks for the welcomes. Boat is in good condition considering it is 20 years old. there is some cracking on the tops of the seats so i will be getting that fixed, but it may have to be this fall cause i dont know if i can part with it during this summer. i also noticed the temp gauge is just reading ERR so i am looking into that one right now.

Nice boat, great color! Considered this, almost a perfect match for "Black Forest Metallic" on my Grand Cherokee.......

lol yeah I'm sure. I have not been able to work on what is going on with it yet but there is definitely nothing BRRR about Alabama. It is currently 80 degrees out right now.
