Looking for a Volvo 8.1L GI-G fuel pump assembly.

Hey guys. I’ve been busy and away for work, but I finally took my 272 out on a trip for a few days last weekend. While I was out my low pressure fuel pump starting making a lot of noise like might be in danger of failing. I have a Volvo 8.1L Gi-G and looked up the the part number which is 21608512, the problem is it turns out this is a $1300 part?! I’m trying to find a lightly used or refurbished assembly so I have a spare on hand while I go to Lake Powell for 5 days and I’m leaving next week on Thursday the 11th. If anybody has a source please let me know, I’ve been searching everywhere and haven’t found anything.

Yt where did you get yours? Ebay has a bunch under 500. I would replace it now before you go.

Yeah, all of the ones on ebay less than $900 are for other versions of the 8.1L. Unfortunately the part I need is 21608512 because I have an 8.1Gi-G, which means my fuel pressure regulator is located on my fuel pump assembly instead of being on the fuel rail like all of the cheaper versions.
The cheapest options I’ve found are offered by a guy that sells aftermarket units out of Idaho on ebay. I purchased a couple pumps from him for my old 232 so I might give this a shot if I don’t find any other alternatives.
This is a complete $950 aftermarket assembly:

Yes I did, sold it locally a couple weeks ago.

I got both of mine for 2 different boats on ebay. One was $400 and one was a tad over $500

Anymore I don't hardly venture past the first section. And sometimes randomly I'll read something down there.
