Well, Ladies and Gents...

It looks like I'm going to have to bow out of the forums here. I tried to log in this morning and my work server threw up a big message about Cobalt Chat being a malicious risky site and has blocked it from my computer (had to log in to an old cached page to post this). Seeing as how I don't own a personal computer (or Ipad--yes I know I'm in the very small minority), that only leaves me with a phone which is also company owned, so I'm sure it will get shut down ultimately as well. I'll still try to look in from time to time, but for the future, it looks like I'm pretty much out of commission as apparently the info contained here is just too "risky" LOL. Hopefully I can figure out another method.

You are truly a great bunch of people who are so open and willing to share knowledge and offer guidance and assistance on just about anything that you have experience with--boating or not. I hope that somewhere I added something that helped someone with some insights. So for now, I'm just the lone black boat guy without a forum.

Maybe just stay off the company WiFi on your phone?. Try private browsing through the ol Safari or Firefox.
Maybe we can write you a note.( that Could be worse). Use your coworkers computer?.

Hm, haven't heard of us showing up on anybody's "naughty" list yet. It occasionally happens to some legit sites due to a rogue advertisement, but that's fairly rare on Google's ad network. Other possibility is that your company's firewall is configured to block "fun" sites that aren't work related. If you're buddies with your IT guy, they can probably whitelist us in their firewall, but it's obviously a sure tipoff that you're browsing "fun" sites at work.

I run into this at work once in while on other sites. Try googling something you know is on CC. Like cobalt 220 upgrades. Look at your results and find one on CC. Click on it and see what happens. Normally works for me on the sites.

Try using the root URL for the forum, not just the cobaltchat.com. Same thing happened to my PhpBB forum and that works for me. I don't know what it is here, but something along the lines of cobaltchat/phpBB3/index.php
