Replacement Batteries

I looked for the topic but couldn’t find so I apologize if it already exists on here. I need to replace at least one of my deep cycles. I have 2007 252 with duals and switch. What is the preferred battery setup now with duals? I currently have the Interstate 24s. Also do I need to switch them both out at the same time? Appreciate the help!! cheers!

Myself. Yes replace in pairs. I would get the largest that will fit. More power the better.

Batteries vary widely in capacity and price. Did you get good service from the Interstates?
You may want to go with the same ones, or a slightly bigger size. If you upsize, you may need to replace the box or hold down plate they're mounted in.
I like the idea of AGM hybrids...but we can always find a way to spend way too much money on stuff.
I agree on replacing in pairs.

I run one interstate battery and one Trojan deep cycle. Normally replace both at the same time but have done them individually at times.

Also carry a hand sized battery jump for emergencies.

Sams Club Duracell AGM Marine Batteries. They are made by East Penn, and I would guess are about the same price as the interstates you are looking at.

JGY, Check to see if you have an Interstate whole sale distribution center. We have one here in KC and they will sell direct. It will save you some money. :D
