Anyone know how to get this panel off? I need to get to the back of the bimini mount, since it pulled free yet again while towing.


I can get the bottom of the panel to separate from the quilted section below it slightly but it's clearly caught at the top.

Any pointers would be MUCH appreciated.

Reminds me of the Cobalt tour where our guide noted that access points aren’t a scientific disassemble thought. Like cars they are designed to be assembled. ( not taken apart).
He did mention that access points are improving as out in the field dealers make suggestions that the riggers use going forward.
I’m guessing the speaker first.. then the panel.. then the 10 extra nuts dropped into the bilge.
Bore scope will be handy once you take the speaker out.

Hmm.. maybe there needs to be?
Seriously, does your bimini mount have backing nuts on the screws or is it just screwed into the fiberglass? I've heard of them being either one, but I can't imagine coming from the factory being screwed into the fiberglass without fender washers and a backing nut. Now if someone installed a bimini afterwards....

I would run a bore scope up through your cupholders and see what your getting into. Can you remove the cupholder panel and reach up from there?
Let us know how it turns out.

Has anyone figured out how to remove these panels? I need to remove the panels on the driver side to get to the shifter throttle mechanism.
