Trawler wanted

Hello Cobalt Cultists,
A friend wants to buy a trawler to live on. He wants one around 40', twin diesels, and prefers an Albin or Marine Trader. Location: Anywhere in the continental U.S. or Canada. His budget is $40k.

I’m curious .. so just taking the same peek I’m sure your friend has... this is a East Coast twin diesel that fits the bill.
I’d worry that shipping one not close could be a 1/3 of the price point. Then again your “ Windlass guy may know a Guy “ lol

Funny you should mention that. The guy looking for a trawler is my prop guy. Contrary to what some advised, he told me to
not put a four-banger on the Condesa. He said that it would put too much pressure on the engine and transmission. (And, yes, between windlass guy, prop guy, and their guys, transportation is covered.)
