Not sure why barefoot competition was using a r3 but hey we will take it.

It makes sense to me. You want a flat lake when bare foot skiing and an r3 can plane in 3 seconds and is a rather small boat. So it has the power to yank them right out of the water and not churn up the lake to much.

Wow. Those folks are real troopers. ...and that 40 degreeish water can’t help with some of those face-plant awards.

Not much of a waterski fan, but the R3 sure does look nice and smooth on the water.

I think all of the contestants were around my age too. Way to go guys.

Tgrace98 you call it what ever you want. How many guys diggered in the wake or just out of it. Mastercraft had the perfect old boat for that contest. But hey that r3 did a great job with no issues pulling.

Awesome! I had a physical therapist that was a barefooter, he said he couldn’t walk for days when he first started. We had some people slalom skiing on Christmas Day, pretty cold even with a dry suit.
