Ok all I know it is still cold out but instead of having 18 pages of randomness in the throwback thread I thought it was time to get a dedicated thread for 2020! For those that are in the dark the Cobalt Regatta is July 24-25th this year. So let's get some details together! For those on the fence here are some pictures from last year

Who all is coming?
Where are you staying?
What boat are you bringing?
When are you getting to town?

I would like to reserve the club house at Treehouse for those staying there or on Indian point so we can get a meet up one night for maybe a cookout and some lemonades! (I was thinking thursday or friday night) If anyone needs help with accommodations feel free to reach out to me. I've been boating TRL my whole life and have owned a place there for a few years now. So that being said I will start.

You asked what Boat or Booze I’m bringing?
The Clubhouse plan is good as there is means for a BBQ and Boozer night. Plus a Kiddie pool!

As much as this kills me to say, im thowing the towel in on 2020... Its just not going to work out for us. So im sticking to my 2 year pilgrimage plan and see you guys in 2021. I cant wait to see all the pictures and hope you all have fun! Let me live vicariously through you!

Nikki and I will be arriving either the 21st or 22nd. Bringing the ‘76 (Lady D) and the ‘79 (Little Dreamer). Will have both at the event Friday the 24th and only the ‘79 on Saturday.

Joe/Shannon and Mike/Mandy will be similar dates. We’d like to talk about staying at the Treehouse. 3 couples, would need 3 slips. How are the slip arrangements/trailer parking for the Treehouse?

So at Treehouse only certain units have slips tied to them. You can find them on their site. Overall there are about 170 units and only 40 slips. No ramp so you would have to put in at Indian Point Marina and drive over. Trailer parking as you can see by Matt’s picture is at the top of the hill. It’s a gravel lot and they have a bunch of marked stalls. Best bet for a slip is just to get one from IPM but you would need to call next week when they start taking summer reservations.

Will be just across the cove at Calm Waters resort, there is another one right next to it Artilla Cove resort. I looked there and they have slips as well...

We will be there! We are also staying at Treehouse in 706, and we were lucky enough to get one of the last ones available that weekend with a slip. It's only a 24' slip so look for the 3' of swim platform sticking out the back, and that will be us. We are tying this in with a trip we take to Bull Shoals every year, so we will be arriving Thursday (7/23) afternoon and leaving Tuesday (7/27). It will be me, the fiance, and both our boys, and we will be bringing our 95 252. We are definitely down with a get together either night.

For those of you getting there early, if you find yourself feeling adventurous and want to experience Bull Shoals, let us know. We can make arrangements to meet up with you, and we could take 3-4 people on our boat if needed as well. BS has a great boat up restaurant called Just Jackies that has the best pizza, wings and the coldest beer you've ever had. It is a must stop on our trip every year.

You definitely should. That will be our last full day there so that would work perfect. It’s a fantastic lake.

Haha i know, better start practicing! Or Andrew mahomes will be there. I really wanted to fly out this year, but we have two other family vacations planned and I need to budget time and money. Ill see you in 2021 for sure tho!

I think it is just because you won't be able to stand seeing Andrew and I wearing our Chiefs Superbowl Champ shirts. I get it. We'll miss you, and we'll see if we can bounce something off a brand new boat and send you the video.
