I'm restoring the instrument panel on my '92 Cobalt 255, and my functional but severely UV damaged factory in-dash depth finder unit is an eyesore.

Maybe put a cover on it?

Can you post a pic? I can’t find a 3200 series flush mounted to reference. From the looks it’s dimensionally close to the newer Hook2 series.

A cover may be the answer. I've got an iPad running SonarPhone and Navionics, so I don't NEED the factory depth finder.
But after restoring the crazed, cracked lens covers on the instruments, I would like to keep it stock.
