Need your help. Does anyone have this type of dock light bulb? It’s burned out and I want to replace with led

Yep I think you can get that bulb out of that housing and put a 3 or 4 inch led bulb in its place.

Tried, heated w hair dryer and man couldn’t pull them out. Seems like metal structure behind the bulb holding it in. I haven’t tried to twist them out

Remind us how. Is it sitting in a groove?

I heated in boiling water as previously post mentioned and no luck. Seems bulb is attacked to inner housing. I’m now looking for bulb/ rubber housing replacement. Also considering cutting open rubber housing where it starts to narrow to cone. I’ll post pic. Thanks BBP

I went through the exact same issue on my 343. On mine, at least, it was just press-fit into a groove on the rubber housing. Only part that may be attached is the silicone they use around the wires as that pass through the housing. This will sound crazy and maybe liberating, but take a hammer & metal punch to it and break out the glass bulb.

The wires are attached with just a screw terminal on the back of the bulb. You may have to remove the white wire connection plug and just pull the wires through.
For replacement, I soaked the housing in hot water (15+ min) and with a little dish soap, I was able to work the new bulb in place.

Thanks HS fantastic it felt good to use the hammer! The cone is solid rubber, wow. I do feel liberated! Do you recall the replacement you used? Thanks again

The lights on the 343 were a H7604 or also a PAR36 fits the same. The housing mounted to the hull may be different, but I think the rubber housing is the same. Several on here have gone with an LED replacement with significant improvement.
Can you tell which one I replaced? ..... I never realized the difference.
