Hi,

New owner of an 2008 282 twin engine here in Coeur d Alene, Idaho. Only 3 of the instrument panel gauges illuminate with the right engine key on. I can not see any removable bulbs from the back side. Do i need to remove the gauges out the front to replace the bulbs?

Thanks for any help.

Not sure what’s different on your year than my 2003. Maybe they changed the twist style?

The gauges in the middle only light up with the up arrow on the sides.

Technically having limited light at night and no glare will help you see. Should you want them just push the arrow up. Push agian to increase brightness ( Key off cycles them back off).
They are a twist cap with a grid so possibly why you don’t see conventional wires.

Did you try the left key? Sorry I'm not much help.
Matt is our 282 expert. He can help you change a build im sure. Let's see a picture of her lit up? I think we may have some bulbs out of her. Just a wild guess of course.

Dimmer control knob turned too low? Should be on the stbd side of the helm, down low.

Thanks for the replies. I try the arrow on the side to adjust brightness and will take some pictures next time we are out after dark which I hope will be soon!
