Nice. That will push that 226 along just fine.

I kneeboard more than I wakeboard. My kids are young (Son 4 & Daughter 9). Daughter wants to learn to wakeboard this year. Still need to get my son to do something other than ride a tube.

Try to get him on a knee board. Super easy. Have mom hold him while you take off. And make sure he just leans back . We airways had a person in the boat holding onto the other end of the rope. That way if he fell off you just let go of the rope. With little kids we never kept the rope tied to the boat.

Its funny you mention that about the rope. It only took my daughter 1 time to hold onto the rope after going over the front of the kneeboard and she learned to let go next time! I feel pretty sure i will get my son on the kneeboard within the next 30 days.

I am wondering if anyone has ever modified the waketower on this boat to make it fold down? I am pretty sure this tower was installed when the boat was delivered because many of the other pictures i have seen on here look the same.

Any help would be appreciated. If any of you have made this type of modification then pictures would be nice.

Modified would just flimsy it up.

Have you thought of seeing how with 2 people the forward hardware comes out?
As long as there’s a fixed threaded receiver in the gunnel you could possibly remove and fold down.
Nightmare if it’s bolted with backing plate and nuts.
BBP knows people he’s done this before.

I pick up the boat for the first time tomorrow, so I will have to look. The boat should fit in my shop (door is 10' tall) but it will be tight. I have a lean to beside my shop that is only 9 foot tall. I would go back and forth where i store it if i am working on my truck or wife's car or tinkering in the shop and need the boat moved.

Even if it is threaded I don't want to have to take it loose every time I pull it out the water. i would like a Cam set up or remove a pin so that my wife could do it also.

My boat will go in the water in the morning and out in the evening. I live in a neighborhood on the lake so i have access to ramp and courtesy dock less than 1/2 mile in my neighborhood.
