Beeps when key is removed from ignition, normal?

When i take the key out i hear a beep, not sure why. Is that normal? 2000 206 cobalt thanks

I have owned many different boats over the years and never had one beep when removing the key? There is normally a beep from a piezo buzzer when you turn the key to the on position?

Stupid maybe my Sony stereo beeped when powered down. Maybe it's the radio you are hearing. Yeah, if it is buzzing when you take the key out I’m at a loss. Or is it when you turn the key from ‘run’ to ‘off’?

I've never heard of it either. Maybe your getting a text simultaneously when you're switching off? 
Or maybe it's your subconscious telling you you are not done yet!

Are we sure its not the beeps reminding you that your battery is still on?
