How do I get rid of this email. Not the topic email.
This email accompanies every new topic posted
New topic notification - "Older Boats and Series"

I think I'll try unchecking notification for "Someone creates a topic....."

It also appears you don't want (need) both notification and email, however, I'm not sure what the difference is between notification vs email. Is notification internal to the site when you logon? And email is you receive a email.

Correct. Notifications show the red number under notifications.
